a dream come true

Gabriella Grieve started volunteering with a special needs riding program in the Colorado Denver Metro area. It was that first day with the kids and horses in the hot summer sun that she decided to pursue the hobby as a career. She always had a love for kids and a passion for horses, so to her, there was nothing more perfect to dedicate her life to.

Gabriella began her Equine Science education at Colorado State University with the dream in her pocket of running her own riding program that could serve everyone who came to the gate.

While in school, Gabriella adopted her first horse, Casino. The young palomino had little training, but his kind heart and willing attitude assured her that he would be the perfect partner.

With ambition and drive, Gabriella graduated CSU with a BS in Equine Science and a minor in business administration.

On the hunt for the perfect lesson horse, Gabriella stumbled across Dandy, an older horse with spunk and attitude. Dandy received some refresher training before entering the program, but is now a confident beginner's horse.

All Gabriella's hard work and education paid off as Inspiring Strides became a reality. Her first rider and their family were the start of the ever-growing Inspiring Strides family.

In March, 2019 Gabriella became officially certified through PATH Intl. to teach therapeutic riding lessons to people with disabilities, the people that sparked the flame 6 years earlier.
